YOROKOBU is a contemporary sans serif with graphical characters. 'Yorokobu' means 'to be happy' in Japanese. The font is inspired by the art of folding called 'Origami'. Its geometric typographic design comes with upper and lower case characters, punctuations and numbers. Initially it was designed with paper by hand, then digitally adjusted and finally converted into an opentype font. Core elements are its geometric form and its consecutive character. All letters are designed to work together but can also easily be used individually. YOROKOBU comes in one weight. Other characters — Fractions, Tabular Lining, Ligature, Alternate Characters, Symbols — are not included yet.
